The Reston Letter is where my creative, editorial, and community-building work comes together. As one of the publication’s designers, social media lead, and multimedia producer, I build the brand’s visual identity, develop promotional campaigns, design print ads, produce video content, and support community partnerships across Reston and Herndon.
From the widely anticipated Reston Coloring Book to sponsorship ads, podcast branding, grant videos, and a full social media design system, this work reflects my ability to shape a cohesive brand across digital, print, and video. Below is a curated selection of projects showcasing my role in expanding The Reston Letter’s presence and impact across the community.
Event Highlight
This was a photo collage I made for the Instagram account to draw attention to an upcoming game that the Reston Letter was covering in their September issue.

Article Highlight
I created this graphic for an Instagram post. I wanted to highlight an article about NOVA that was published in the July issue.

Booth Sign
This was a sign I created for the Reston Letter to have at their water station booth during a race. The goal of this sign was to increase awareness of the newspaper.

Event Advertisment
I created this graphic as a promotion for the Reston Museums boat regatta event. This ad was then featured in the August issue of the paper

Book Advertisment
This was an ad I created for a local writer promoting his book in the Reston paper. I wanted to show the different formats in which the book could be accessed in this ad.

Call for Ads Post
I created this graphic for Instagram as a way to bring in businesses looking to advertise with the Reston paper and as a result generate more revenue for the paper.
