This collection highlights the social media assets I design and manage for The Reston Letter across Instagram, Facebook, and our website. My focus is on building a recognizable visual identity that feels modern, local, and consistent with Reston’s community-driven character.

In Fall 2025, I developed a new branded template system to unify our feed—balancing typography, color, and editorial layouts so posts feel cohesive and instantly recognizable. Each piece below reflects both design execution and strategic messaging to drive engagement, newsletter sign-ups, and readership growth.

Reston Letter Book Club Graphic

A bold, modern announcement graphic created to promote the launch of our community book club. Designed with high contrast and clean typography to stand out in the feed and spark conversation.

Call for Newsletter Sign-Up

A conversion-focused graphic encouraging audience growth for our monthly newsletter. Features brand-aligned colors and a clear call-to-action to increase email subscribers.

Reston Letter Events Sign-Up Graphic

A promotional design inviting businesses to advertise with The Reston Letter. The layout leans on the branded template system to create familiarity and trust.

Halstead Glen Parking Graphic (New Branded Template System)

This is the signature template I created to modernize our social presence. This new template now features our logo on every post in addition to one to two pictures with minimal words on the graphic. We now use this design system across the majority of our posts to give The Reston Letter a cohesive, publication-quality visual identity.
